What did we think of the Claims Management Conference?
The Claims Management Conference 2012 was a fantastic, professional and corporate run event organised by Barker Brooks Media at Manchester United Football Club last week. Running a tight ship, Barker Brooks team, including but not exclusive to: Kate McKittrick, Laura Pollard and Paul Bunce, were all very well organised, making delegates feel welcome and relaxed from arrival to departure.
The choice of speakers, programme, exhibitors, facilities, refreshments etc and evening entertainment was effortlessly put together. The content of each presentation was indeed relevant, insightful and paramount with regard to the Jackson reform, ABS, franchisee models, building a brand, UK legal services market and more – all explaining in great detail what changes the legislation means in practice for the PI and CMC industry. Chairman Kerry Underwood, Underwood Solicitors & Law Abroad Plc chaired the conference impeccably with his delivery and no nonsense approach to Q&A.
From speaking to many delegates during the two day event, the majority found the conference to be of high standard with the line up of speakers, including: Andrew Dismore, Justice Action Group, Chris Bull, Edge International, Rob Terry, Quindell Portfolio, Andrew Twambley, Injury Lawyers 4U, Andy Hoe, Russell Jones & Walker, Andy Slaughter, MP Shadow Justice Minister to name a few .
Judging by the testimonials that were taking place on the last day it was very well received by all and there was plenty of smiling faces mingling throughout the Manchester Suite and main Conference room after Kerry Underwood’s closing remarks and conference close– including me!
Keep your diary’s free for future events organised by Barker Brooks Media and Claims Magazine Conference– definitely high on my agenda 2012-2013!
